Ecas is the online site where you will see the status of your application. You put in your client number and your birth date etc then you will see if your application is IN Process or DM- Decision Made. After medical you wait for whatever the embassy will require. For us my parents went for medicals Aug 2012 and they just got their visas Dec 5 2012. Goodluck!

Hello everyone, just want to share the good news! Received an email from CPP-Ottawa on Dec 5, informing us that my mom's visa is ready to be issued...woohoo! Finally, sleepless nights are over! ...will be more than glad to answer any questions regarding pending parental sponsorships...

I don't seem to see anyone mentioning interview by the embassy in this thread. Does it mean na wala ng inteview at ang next step is for the embassy to request for the applicant's passport ?

yes wala po naginterview pa so far... have you submitted your passport already? 

thank you tin rodriguez, 3 months after medicals...weird though that they were requiring additional docs a week before this visa issuance email....but i will still provide them with the requested docs, regardless....

yup, i guess, if they have to interview, it should be done before the medicals...am not sure but that's just my gut feel...

if no issues with medical results po and no further documentation required, then yung decision na lang po ang hihintayin niyo...if you provided an email address, they will email the result, which is very advantageous, especially that our postal service seems to have had delays in delivering snail mails...

Since your mom's visa is already ready to be issued which simply means she has gone/submitted/ completed all the steps , may I know if your mom underwent an interview ?

No, I have not submitted my passport yet since there has been no request from the embassy.

ahhh so medical pa lang p0... san po ba visa office sa inyo, local na din po dito manila or sa ottawa? kase dito po ang alam ko sabay medical and passport..

Hi everyone, I just want to ask if in case my mom put in her email address in her sponsorship application, would it mean that correspondence will be sent via her email address. Being a sponsor, I got the approval last sept 6, 2012 & was advised that file will be xferred to Ottawa. I was just wondering why it's taking that long for my parents to get a request for their medical? Is this usual? Thanks

yes all the correspendence will be address to your mom. also they approved me as sponsor on aug 9 and they sent request for medical and pssport on aug 29. hope that helps

ayan yung status namin, magkasabay ang medical received at desions made. tingin niyo visa na yan? kinakabahan ako... also mga ilan days or weeks kaya bago mattanggap passport nila?
