MANILA VISA OFFICE TIMELINE - Sponsoring parents only.

I am sponsored by my daughter. She received a letter from CIC last June 13, 2012 informing her that she met the requirements for eligibility as sponsor . It further stated that the application for Permanent Residence has been forwarded for processing. I am confuse however with the succeeding paragraph stating that in case of any questions, to contact CPP OTTAWA. Is the processing being done now in Ottawa and not here in Manila ?

Any reply will be greatly appreciated.

@ June_bug mother ko lang ang na-sponsoran ko. Dont worry tiyaga lang sa pag-hihintay,
darating din ang visa ng family mo.. just keep praying

@ lovely20, bear in mind.. once the RPRF has been made, you have to fax or e-mail the CPC-Mississauga and tell them to notify Canadian Embassy in Manila about the payment. Failure to do so will delay the processing to 1 - 2 months. It was happened to me, to Jomjom and Shakey.

hi pede po ano pong email add and fax number ng cpc mississauga??kung san kelangan i fax/email ung receipt? kSi nung nag apply ako for sponsorship last 2008 dun na din ako nag bayad ng lahat lahat kaya worried ako bka siguro kelangan ko sila i notify kasi 2008 pa un but i still have my copy and isinama ng dAd ko ung kopya ng reciept nila ...pls help thanks

Yes, it is now being processed in Ottawa, if that's where your file was transferred. Should they need local info, then they will have to forward your file to the visa office in Manila. From what I observed, if both parents are being sponsored, files are transferred to Manila but if for only one parent, it is in Ottawa...that's just my observation though from the forums...I sponsored my mother and after two months of receiving an approval, they sent a medical request to my mom. Hope this helps.

If I'm not mistaken, it was your mother who encountered quite a lot of problem with a certain accredited clinic in Makati. May I know if she is already done with her medical. And, also, maraming salamat for posting that experience. Marami kang natulungan at matutulungan coz everyone in the know will now avoid going to that clinic (Timbol)

depends kung ilang months inaplayan nila. pag may medical yun lang ang medyo magpapatagal lalo n pag may aditional test.

3 months sana sila stay dito.. wala naman yata medical yun.. 55 and 59 age ng parents ko

HI JOIDIPLE,PASAL naman dito....may tanong lang ako about super visa..akala ko mabilis lang ang supervisa para sa parents kasi plan ko kunin ko mother ko next yr.ang tanon ko ay ganito..aabutin ba ng 2 yrs ang application ng super visa from manila?y mom is retired government teacher at diabetic siya magkakaroon kaya ng problema sa visa niya dahil diabetic siya?salamat ng marami

How long does a DM actually take? I thought it would only take 3-5 months?
