No, I was so surprised. No more proofs. My application once it was open was passed to 3 different officers for review. The final review approved it, it was about 2 or 3 weeks in total after they opened it to approval on their paper.. of course it took 13 months in real life.
I hope mine will be like yours as well... I have already gathered proofs... we have joint account, but we only opened it last june and we bought a car, both innour names... will they question it since it just happened recently?

I also went conjugal 7 years ago ,,,she was married and even with the philipino separation she could not marry me so a conjugal relationship was accepted,,,,,sje could remarry a Filipino but noit a foreigner,,,,,i don't think an annulment in the phils will let foreigners marry Filipinos,,,,i think the divorce has to be done in another country,,,not completely sure but her separation did say she was free to marry a Filipino but not a foreigner,,,,,

Ok so it is Sunday, and time for another question that just popped into my pea brain....

So I know my wife and son will have to redo their medicals. (Only 11 days until they expire) fine whatever another g'damned exscuse to hold things up. But, do the re-med involve redoing everything again? Or just a quick check up? Is it the full price again? And can we expect to have to bound someone else to move the results along in a timely manner?

Full price unless you go to the MP and shake the tree like Jeep Guy did to just get the mandatory X ray. If you do that you might expect retaliatory delays like he seemed to have had.

i do have a question regarding the remedical thing.. if your medical will expire soon, are they(cic/cem) going to give you a paper or note or something telling you to do your remedical and present it at the clinic? or just go to the clinic and tell them your doing a remedical? and then, after the remedical, ofcourse they are going to give you a form just like the first time u did your medical, where are you going to send it? is it in the cic/cpc in canada (which at my case its cpc-m) or at your local vo(manila)?

CEM will send you an email with the re medical form as an attachment. You will print it, and schedule your re medical. They won't do a re medical without the form. After the medical is done they will email it themselves to the embassy.

Not sure if it was retaliatory delay or not but if you can get CEM to request the X-ray and panel physician interview only make sure your missus follows up the next few days to make sure they sent it in. It was that delay of the medical that had me complain further and within 12 hrs my wife had her COPR in her hands.

Good luck.

The flight from Manila to Vancouver the food is included. You can bring some packaged snacks if you like but no bottled drinks. The domestic flight with Air Canada you should not but anything unless you want to give them all your money for a half a can of coke.

$100 Canadian is more than enough to be safe for any incidentals and taxi fare once you land at your destination.

I don't remember totally what they were for and it was not to go to Canada, but when my filipina wife and I went to China ( from the PH) back in March, we had to pay extra fees to leave the country. I think mine was NBI clearance ( I am a resident in the PH) and hers??? Maybe someone else who has left the Philippines more recently (and pays more attention to that stuff) can chime in.

Can't think of much worse than being at the airport and not having enough cash on hand and perhaps no credit cards to take care of incemental costs.

Best of luck

D.
