Morning! I seriously dislike getting up before the sun!! But alas, I must be at the school for 830.. On a related topic, WHO starts ELEMENTARY school at 830?! When I grew up, school started at 930 and ended at 330! WHAT THE HECK?! I can't imagine waking up at 4 year old to be at school for 830...

And amikety, no I don't I'm too poor for that haha. But eventually would like one. Why do you ask?

When I was in school, we went from 8:45 to 3:30.
Starting at 9:30 would've been a luxury I could only have dreamed of.

My high school went from 7:45 to 2:30. Which meant catching the bus at 7. Having the long afternoons was nice though.

My 4 1/2 year old nephew started school full time in September in the GTA (school starts at 8:30). I was surprised by the early start too. But the kid gets up at 6am every morning like clockwork (weekends included). So it wasn't much of a stretch for him. I'm also still getting used to the idea of a 4 1/2 year old going to school for a full day. JK was half days when I was his age.

My husband's finally home today from his 2.5 week business trip. I don't think he's bringing home any presents. Next time he needs to go somewhere with shopping.

I am surprised you're not beauty sleeping. Though you always seem to miss out on the action when you do.

Does anyone know the precise steps taken to complete background checks and why this process appears to be the most lengthy stage of the application? What happens behind the scenes?

Thanks Halfmoon These past few nights, I think I've been awake more than I've been sleeping. This is when I could really use my wife here to baby me through, but the forum and new friends here definitely make my days more fun, and it also gives me something to do.
