I have landed at Mississauga Ontario, Canada safely a week ago. I am looking for odd job opportunities at the moment before I get the job in my field. seniors staying in mississauga plz contact if you can help me refer/guide me to get a odd job or a clerical job at the moment.(plz note tht i am a female & will not be able to do jobs to move heavy equipments)

You can fill out a basic application through the website and attach your resume. I would also try Purolator, UPS and Fed Ex.
It takes a while for them to get back to you but the wage is ok until you have found something in your field. As long as your basic english communication skills are good (reading, writing) then you should do well.

Check out the job bank for available employment. Another good source is Kijiji. Restaurant and factory jobs are fairly easy to get until you get your bearings. Public transit is good but decent accomodation won't be cheap.
