Hi

Once your file is transferred to London visa office how long does it take for the london visa office to process your file and send you the passport request. My wife's spousal application was transferred to London visa office on January 17th, 2018 and they started processing it in on January 22th, 2018.

Does anyone know how long will it take now for them to process it and send us the passport request?

London has a reputation for being slow but really it is anyone's guess. Nobody here will be able to tell you how long it's going to take.

I am London VO too. There is a thread for London VO processinh and (don't know where you're from) a thread for Pakistan applicants being processed in London VO.

Average processing time for LVO is 7 months

I have heard 9-10 months total processing time (from the beginning, not once it gets transferred to LVO). So I guess that would be 7 once it's transferred

is there anyone who received AOR 2 from January 2018 applicants? having London as there VO? didn't hear anything from London VO since April. I even requested for GCMC notes already and they didn't even open my application yet.. no notes from them..

Remember your notes are generated the day you request them. So when you get them they aren't actually necessarily correct or where your app is now.

I applied for my husband's sponsorship in January 2018. CIC was upto date on additional documents that were required (medical, police certificate etc). However, ever since the file was transferred to London (back in April 2018), it's been dead silence. I filled out the request online and received a response after a month stating they haven't started the initial review and they will contact us once it begins..... Never heard about the status since than.

This is the 9th month since I applied and I'm quite sure our documents will be expiring soon.

Has anyone heard from London office recently ? I was expecting the process to be so much faster but I guess not.

WHERE in same boat still stuck in PA eligibility screening... no news in LVO so far they are still in 2017 applicants p

Still no news from them... even in ECaS my application from Jan. 4,2018 is still in process.. I didn’t even receive any AOR2

yep...been there since April 2018

I don't think LVO has started 2018 applications. They are still working on December 2017 ones.
