Hi everybody,
Is there anyone who have an idea about the following situation:

If I applied for FSW visa and I have 4 years experience in one of the required jobs during the last 10 years, but these 4 years are not the last 4 years. As I already changed my job since 5 years and my current job is not in the list of required jobs? Do you think the visa officer will process my application???

Yes your application is eligible for processing as long as your experience years took place during last 10 years regardless if these 4 years were most recent or not.

But in that case you have to provide very strong evidence (recent reference letters) to support your claims.

Hello Everybody,

I have few queries, currently I'm waiting for medical request from London CHC. As you all know London CHC is dead slow.

I want to resign from my current job once I get my medical done and sent to CHC. Notice period at my current employment is 3 months.

Will I get PP request and visa stamping by that time? If I don't and I go to India, can I send PP to London CHC staying in India?

Considering the fact that London CHC is quite slow, will, my relocation to India, delay my PR process?

Dear Vaibhav.

i strongly advise not to resign as i have the same situation as yours even i have more expenses and my family is traveling to Pakistan and i have to travel as well to attend my brothers wedding, once you get your visa then you can resign and in the mean while you can pack up your stuff and also sell out your car, flat etc etc.... Good Luck

I am also in big dilema. As my daughter is 1 year old and i want to land in Canada in such a time when the atmosphere is less quite manageable. If i have to wait until my visa comes, it would be a bit late for me. anyway thanks for your advice, will definately think about it.

Dude, we actually applied in Dec 2009, and waiting since May 2010, after submittting full documents, got AOR in May 2010. Since then havent heard anything from visa office-London.

As per ur timeline, u submitted docs in August 2010, and u planning to resign, expecting for medicals, and post landed plannings ! Dude be realistic !

Have patience, be realistic, and dont resign. Once u apply, juz forget and spend ur normal life as u were doing before. This process though fast track but still does take time. London Office is slowest ! check how many march/april/may applicants got medical request. I would say hardly few. And u submitted documents in August 2010.

Have patience man !

What a funny situation.If you applicants of 2009(London) are complainning, what should we June 2007 applicants says? I wonder how long it would taken for you guys to have been sorted out based on old application process.

You are extremely lucky to express your feelings about resignation and the overwhelming response that you have received by sincerely concerned forum guys, who are perhaps more worried than our own family members, if I may add.

I am really impressed for the affection showed by all the advising members, who are absolutely right according to me in asking you NOT TO RESIGN before you have your PP stamped with the maple leaf. So better, thank your stars and heed to their advices.

Your kid being 1 year old and the climate's suitabilities are all but trivialities, to be addressed when you actually face it. I know lucky ones recently landing in Canada with babies in arms!

So, Cheer up and endure a bit more in Muscat, (you know sacrifices have to be made for kuchh paane ke liye kuchh khon padta hai!)

You guys are quite right in showing me the right direction. Indeed we are all like a virtual family. I am not going to resign right away, but thinking of it once my medicals reach London CHC. The mere fact is notice period at my office is 3 months and i have got bored here. Anyways thats another story, but the kind of of elderly response you guys (including Ali) have extended to me, i feel like obliged to you.

One more thing guys if the fast track takes so long then the statistical table at CIC website doesnt carry any meaning. there it says applications of last 1 year, for London office have been finalsied within a period of min 7 and max 11 months from the date of initial application.

@Arman - I had submitted my docs in June and got my 2nd AOR in Aug. All of my docs are quite clean and clear. I dont expect any hiccup there.

Hi vaibhavvd ,

I understand your feelings regarding your current job and your eagerness to change your life and migrate to Canada, I also have same feelings
Your cuurent Job is in your hand but Canada immigration(although you are confident about your application documents) is not gauranteed,everything could happen (slowing down process, change laws, Quota .. and so on). so why to take the risk with such uncertainty ?

Keep your job and be patient my friend

Resign as soon as you get the visa at your passport (not before that)
