LMO reccomendation

Angtao, be very careful with any agent or `professional`who claims you to get an LMO or a job as a foreign worker. I heard and know to many bad stories of people being ripped off and left with nothing- no actual job and few thousand less. Never pay anyone to get you an LMO ever. What I did when I was done with my studies, I did research all the companies in town who employed foreign workers and went with my resume to each and every of them. That`s how I got a job, not the most fancy one, but it helped me for 3 years to tay here and establish my life.
Only an employer can obtain an LMO for you from the HRSDC, they have to apply to get you one.

The employer wants to hire him but it is up to us to do the LMO and they will sign all the paperwork and post for the job and do whatever else needs to be done.

I am aware that the employer has to apply for the LMO but there are papers that you have to fill out and there are things that the employer needs to do so the LMO is approved. I want someone to help us with this.

I've done this to hire foreign workers before. The employer needs to advertise the position on the Canada job bank and several other locations for at least 2 or 3 weeks (like local newspapers, trade magazines, etc). They have to be able to prove that they can't find a Canadian worker for the job. The wages and benefits they are offering have to be in line with the current standards (which can be checked online).
Once they have done the advertising then they offer you a contract (and it has to be in the format that HRDSC wants) which you will then sign. Then your employer sends in the proof of their advertising, a copy of your contract and the required forms. The only thing you need to sign if I remember correctly is the contract.

Kaycee is right, the only thing that you need to sign is your future contract with the employer which contains your wage, hours, conditions, duration. That`s the only thing on your side.
