Hi everyone, I was reading LMIA exemption list and saw C43 exemption item on the list. This is related to PGWP however I just wanted to see if this exemption can be applied to someone who is on a PGWP and has a job offer when applying CEC

Do you mean in terms of getting 50 points for having a job offer under Express Entry? If so, the answer is no. Your employer needs an approved LMIA if you want the 50 points.

Yes you are right, it is for getting some extra points without LMIA

Unfortunately only possible if you are on an LMIA exempt closed work permit with the employer named on the work permit (like an ICT). Since you are on an open work permit with no employer named, you need an approved LMIA to get the 50 points.
