Applied PR/OWP- September 2011
CIC start Processing-October 2011
OWP issued-December 2011

Since then nothing... I can not check my application status on E-CAS like some people.

I am from Toronto, and single applicant.
Hoping to hear from CIC by October 2013, since some of us got it in 2 years...

Hello. My mom had already sent the requirements for travel doc to the CIC Manila so she can go here in the Philippines.
Second, our passport was already in CIC last May 8, 2013. My mom became PR last July 29,2013.
I just want to ask if the processing times for Travel Document Application and ISSUANCE OF VISA are also affected by the strike? Thanks!

Hi i would like to share my timeline.
Guys im newbie here. Thanks i found this thread to minimized my worries since i submitted all my original documents including my passport. Ive got LMO and it will expire on september, my employer needs me badly as her current caregiver wont renew again. My timeline is here:


June 01, 2013 = Application Filed
June 02, 2013 = AOR sent by email
June 03, 2013 = Medical request form sent by email
June 04, 2013 = Additional form to complete by employer
June 08, 2013 = medical done 1st step @ etoile clinic
June 10, 2013 = second step medical dine.
August ......... Until now no reply from VO

your mother LC1 OWP has nothing to do with the lock up of dependent LC2 age. when your mother LC1 submitted her pr application and CPC Vegreville Canada received it that is the time when her dependent LC2 age is locked up. if she filed her pr app last 2011 then dependent LC2 age is locked up since then.

hi what does it says in your email. it could be automatic response from cic as AIP. you have to wait for the letter from the mail. did you call cic. im from quebec too never heard. just prepared additional time to process certificate of selection in quebec (CSQ) if you need list of the documents to prepare pm me your email. contrats!

your mother LC1 OWP has nothing to do with the lock up of dependent LC2 age. when your mother LC1 submitted her pr application and CPC Vegreville Canada received it that is the time when her dependent LC2 age is locked up. if she filed her pr app last 2011 then dependent LC2 age is locked up since then.

our VISA had arrived earlier. The agony of waiting has come to end. My birthday was August 6, 2013 and I really prayed to God what birthday wish I wanted to be granted. And He answered the day after that, August 7. Glory to God!

As they always say, He has a perfect time. Just keep on praying and have patience. It will come when you least expect it. I hope everyone would already receive theirs, too.
