solkaman said:Hi there! Question for those with POS experience:
We sent our PP to POS further to their request. We are now waiting on VISA. They received our package on Tuesday May 5th exactly 2 weeks ago. We have not heard anything from them. I know some people receive an email stating that the VISA will be ready shortly and to make arrangements with DHL for pick-up. We used FedEx so all is prearranged. They already have a prepaid waybill and return envelope.
Will we get an email with a heads up or should we just wait for the mail? I also check the on-line status every day..... we are still in process...
Thank you S_Spence. Well I guess I will give them this week and then send them an email to ask to same question you did. Maybe it will prompt them to process a bit faster.... Or nots_spence said:Hi there, we too have a prepaid waybill with FEDEX. I sent an email out to POS on May 12, 2015 asking if it is our responsibility to arrange for pick up for Husbands PP or will POS be making the arrangments for pick-up. They sent a response on May 15, 2015.
"This refers to your E-mail below. Your husband has to make the arrangements with FEDEX for the return of his passport and visa."
They never said when or how we will be notified, still playing the waiting game. I read other people who used FEDEX didn't have to arrange for pick-up so I guess it varies.
Hope this helps

Dear Suzanne, if you keep up with this level of stress you will be lucky if you are still around at the end of this journey.... please relax. I can feel your stress. You have done everything that you can at this point. You can't stress for something that is now out of your hands. If they have doubts about how genuine your relationship is they may ask you for an interview. If you did a good job at proving the real nature of your relationship you will not be asked for an interview.suzanne2014 said:How do you know when your interview is waived ?? I'm so scared I'm going too get an interview urgh..
If nothing else I've learned that this process is so inconsistent. We did a prepaid waybill with fedex also.....we lost the tracking number so I don't even know when our package left Trinidad. My husband didn't do anything further to arrange the fedex after we sent in TH passport..... it arrived back to us a little over 2 weeks after submitting it. I sent an email simply because I was anxious.....solkaman said:Hi there! Question for those with POS experience:

That's funny shortyp and thank you for backing me up!shortyp2000 said:lmao you cant tell a woman to relax, ha ha ha, it doesn't work!
But Suzanne, solkaman is right about this.... don't stress over an interview until you know you need one. You will just get depressed over it and then find out down the road that theres no interview needed, so no reason for all the worry.
In your case, an interview may not be such a bad thing. You get a chance to tell your side of the story instead of them just looking at paperwork. I am rooting for you.
Thanks for your comments. At what point did you send an email to them to ask about this?CanadianWifey89 said:If nothing else I've learned that this process is so inconsistent. No problem! We submitted april 17th and I emailed May 1st to which they responded that the visa was approved and they can't guarantee when we will get back the passport. We got it a few days latersolkaman said:Thanks for your comments. At what point did you send an email to them to ask about this?
Well today is the day. We show DECISION MADE!!! So Visa should be on way. It took exactly 2 weeks from the time they received our PP package.CanadianWifey89 said:No problem!
