Background:
2023-SEP-20 0800 AB TIME: Virtual oath with the Edmonton Office, sent signed oath form as instructed right after the oath.
2023-SEP-22 1500 PST: Gave IRCC Call Centre a call to inquire about my e-certificate (has not been able to download it), was told that they have not received my oath form. Sent again using my original email, an alternative email, and webform.
2023-SEP-25 1500 PST: Still nothing. Gave IRCC Call Centre a call, and was told that they only received my oath form on 2023-SEP-22, so the 2-5 business day started from that day.

TLDR: The 2nd agent explained that, sometimes these ceremony agents can be slow in "processing" oath forms, as oppose to simply "receiving" them, and the 2-5 business day wait time starts from whenever they claim to "have processed" our oath forms (kind of inreasonable isn't it? lack of transparency eh? but this is Canada and we are citizens now so it shouldn't surprise us eh?).

I was in the same 8am Edmonton virtual ceremony. I thought it takes 2-5 business days…so as per that today is the 5th day so there should be some update in few days.
Do you think i should call them too??

First of all, Thank you very much for your quick response.
History is not my cup of tea either, but don't want to stress over that. Planning to take the test on Friday. As I am always nervous before tests, just want to know some positive experiences to boost myself. Did you find the question tricky? As I heard they twist the questions just to make them look complicated. Is this true?

I found mine pretty straightforward. But you have to read the questions carefully because it is multiple choice, so some choices may sound good at a glance. But once you read the question properly, you realize they are way off. Do practice tests and carefully review the Discover Canada booklet. I know that before I properly studied I still passed the practice tests. The practice tests are harder than the exam, so it will give you confidence.

What about Dates and names of leaders? Books has like millions of dates and leaders names.

I'm sure different people have different experiences but if you are pressed for time be sure to know your government and then maybe select a few. I can't say I had a problem remembering the who's who versus remember the who did what when

Received my GCMS notes today.
despite what tracker says looks like my test and criminality have been marked completed but everything else is not started.
took 15 months to get my PR so at this point just gonna forget about it and assume I’ll get it next year lol

App: June 30th. AOR July 31st. Received my invitation to the ceremony today for October 11th. (In-person, Mississauga office). I was a bit surprised by the in-person ceremony since I opted for an e-certificate.

I am extremely grateful, although I won't be able to attend due to a work trip during that time. Emailed the Mississauga office and wondering how long it will take to re-schedule. It's extremely sad, and I would 100% cancel the trip if I could. Wish everyone the best of luck! And hopefully, someone can take my spot for that day

Same situation for me, I had to reschedule. Let’s keep each other updated!

I hear some people get rescheduled quickly, others are waiting months
