What a day it has been.... In the morning I saw my LPP complete and during the day received an Oath Invitation email. Scheduled to take an Oath virtually on 16th May.

Frankly speaking, I do not think that involving your MP makes any difference. IRCC just tell them the same status as it is shown in GCMS notes. At least that is what I felt in my case. Have you ordered your GCMS Notes? Does it give any indication of why your application is taking long?

No. They even said to my MP that it is within specified processing time (it was 14 month). I only found out about ICES in one of my GCMS notes as they missed redacting that part.

Yes, doctor can attest your documents as well as complete the verification section on the form. It really depends on your doctor whether they charge you for it or not…my family doctor did not charge me

sorry for confusing you o_O No, I think ICES is only related to physical presence. And, prohibition is something else.

I think is prohibition is related to any restriction imposed by IRCC on becoming citizen for example if you were caught lying to IRCC they can ban someone for applying for visa for 10 years or so...that's just an example and this is also my own opinion/gut feeling. Someone may give us a better...

My guess is that it is only for physical presence because in one of my GCMS notes, they forgot to redact the part where it said "ICES requested due to low physical presence days". Also when I searched the internet for ICES, I found out it is the name of CBSA database in which they hold...
