My office is the Montreal office.

They received my documents June 20th 2014, it started to process August 14th 2014.

Nothing has been updated in the ECas system. The papers I got do not mention anything about the oath…hopefully is right after…..

Today in the mail, I got my test invite for January 20th 2015.

My office is the Montreal office.

Slightly off-topic question, I have heard that after oath they tell you to take 2-3 working days before going for passport. In my case it will be 23rd December I guess.
And I am not sure how long do they take for passport and with holidays but is there a way to get it sooner. I wish to travel to US on New Year's...any thoughts ?

You can request urgent pickup, which is an additional $110 fee, if you apply in person at a Passport Canada Office. That's a 24 hour turnaround, but you need to have proof of travel and "acceptance is at the discretion of the passport officer"! I believe the offices are open between Christmas and New Year.
