No. It was updated on cic website.

applied on 14th july vfs chandigarh. 21st they dispatched the passport. and on 22 recieved the same with approved visa till expiry of passport.

no previous travel history.

Can you please share your document checklist, what document you had provided for ties in the home country. Please provide some information.
And, for how many days of the visit, you mentioned in the application?

my mom and dad are going to meet my sister in canada. she is studying there. my father is a govt employee and the stay is of 1 month,
for home ties my parents have shown that he is currently working in govt sector and son ( me ) is also in india( i am currently working in IT field in bangalore)

Family ties in Canada and in country of residence
Purpose of visit
Submitted from Dubai - UAE: Processing time : 32 days.
July 13-Submitted online
July 14 I got 3 e-mail update regarding my application.
July 14 Biometric given
July 15 : Showed "Biometric completed" in the application status
July 15: Application is in progress.
July 25: Refused.

Re applied on July 30 with same documents , added some property documents , got approved September 12 !

Hi! Just to ask you guys...
Working in an airline with strong travel history (visited schengen countries, Asia, US, Australia Visa) would be an advantage?
I applied as a tourist and planning to stay for 10 days.
