You could have your wife call CIC to see if there is any information known yet, or you could give it one more week and be patient, Perhaps this week your wife will receive SA. There are many factors that are involved in the process.

A friend of mine got her PPR already last friday, good news is she is like only 2 weeks earlier than me when she got her SA. She got her SA around mid of August and I got mine on August 28. PPR to all of us July Applicants!

Same for me,my application was received July 7,and i've nothing .. i call them last week they tell me just to be moooooore patient.

To those that have gotten a positive or negative response from CIC for stage 1 could you tell me if there were any key words in the email you received like "CIC" or "immigration" or "case" or anything like that? The reason I am asking is we're going away for vacation for 2 weeks without email access; at the same time we should be hearing results if the current dates posted are correct. So I would like to setup a forwarder to send me a text msg if I get a mail from them....Then I will travel into the city and check email incase they need additional documents or similar I can try and get those sent asap.

I've just received my SA. Or rather, my wife just got an email with her SA for my application. But the pdf attachment in the email was corrupt so I could not open it. I had to get a guy in the IT department at my work to open it using special software.

Currently, I can't get onto the online services to check the status of my application - perhaps too many people are checking this also. I'm not sure where my application will be sent but they did give an address for the Ottawa cpc in case i need to submit additional info. I'm not sure if this means that it has been sent to Ottawa or not?

Congratulations!!! It looks like it will be indeed processed at Ottawa.

ECAS system is very busy at times to be able to log into it.
