Join Group: RPRF, Medicals, PP sent Waiting for Visas

Tried to figure out the reason for this but couldn't find any strong arguements for the same.

Any idea how some ppl get their PP back in a week 10 days while for some it takes much much longer..
Is it just luck or have any of you noticed any trend ?

I notice from Deep9 's list below that most of the FEB cases have got their visa's within a month. We can take this as a positive cue for all of us awaiting ours..

I am not sure if this is true, but just my analysis. If you see the profiles in "trackitt" under New Delhi CHC and sort them basis the files transferred to local CHC , you will notice that most of the cases upto sept 09 have been cleared with a few exception , of course ,and those could be due to non updation ( my guess !!). So, if this is probably the basis of CHC ND clearing the files, we can calculcate when ours might get completed. Again, I need to see more data to prove this analysis, but I am only bringing a positive aspect for all of us waiting for our Visas...

Hi all,
I got the letter to submit medical and PPT.
Currently I am in USA, therefore cannot send the passports by mail. Could you kindly advise if it is fine to send below set of documents
1) Right of Permanent Residence Fee(RPRF)
2) Medical exam reports
3) Passport Photographs


and at later stage by presenting the passports to ND visa office in person, as we have to return back USA at the earliest.

Kindly advise if any other solution you may have on this.

ND CHC generally expects one to send all the documents, including the passports, together. However, you can request them whether you can delay sending the passport (though not sure about their response to it).ND will not entertain handing over passport in person. You will have to send it through post only . While sending the passport, you can request them to return it urgently giving your situation.

Like KRRS has written , ND does not entertain handing over the PPs in person . You will have to send them by mail .

However I did read a post by Qorax where he had said that "Do not request the visa office to expedite ure visa stamping , stating that u need ure passports soon . They will send it back to u without the stamping"

Will post the link if I am able to find the post .

I dont know if what qorax said was correct or based on some facts but just letting u know ...
