100 people took oath yesterday.. i am the last one..lady besides me wrote her exam in march..so its not unusual for people waiting for months for oath invitation..whole process took about 3 hours from start to end..

I would appreciate if you share your experience about my question.

When we apply for Citizenship,
can my child apply for Citizenship with expired passport?

Do Permanent Residents of Canada need valid passport (given by homecountry) untill we get our citizenship?

We have our PR cards and they will be valid when we apply. We have not leave or are not going to leave Canada untill we get Citizenship. Also she attends school now.

If you had had kind of like this issue before applying for Citizenship, could you please give me advice and/or share your experience please.

No, they don't require your or your children passports to be valid. They will ask you in the application about the reason for not renewing it. That is it!
