My husband just received the email which says they have completed his file and we must send his passport withing 30 days! This news couldn't have come at a better time as I pick up the keys to our first home/condo tomorrow!

Side note, the email came from LA.

I just wanted to let everyone know, on the 13th of June I landed, yay!

I highly recommend people fill out their declaration of goods to follow before going to land. I filled mine out at the border and the officer was so rushed to get me out of there he wouldn't even allow me to finish my list or put any values, claiming it was merely a "formality" and then he filled in a wrong country of "origin and importing from" right after I'd told him most of my stuff was bought in Canada and being shipped from New Zealand. I really hope this doesn't create a nightmare later.
