Hello Guys...

Updates....
I got updates on my ecas,,,,,it says DECISION MADE...

I am trembling with fear.....its a relief that decision has been made....but since I have no idea what it would be I am scared....

I hope it is a positive one.....

I checked my ecas at the mid night yesterday....pass midnight, I must say...and it was not updated....but after probably 6 hrs...I checked again and there was an update......

Just letting you know....Hoping for the best.....

hi kiwi, i hope you receive your visa soon but according to my calculations it takes around 3 months after PPR for 1.5 years travel history ??? ???. i think cic doesnt consider USA travel history but in case of UK they take more than a month for background checks. i am expecting my visa in end of august not before that :-\ :-\
i hope my calculations are wrong and we receive our visa soon

i really hope we get our visas before august.! heres to hoping right.
we submitted our 200 pages of facbook pages/emails. including my ticket and visa for when i come to india in june. do you think this will help at all with the process?

Even I have a travel history of 12 yrs..i mean i was born and brought up in saudi and came to india wen i waz 12-13... Buh soon after my ppr my status changed to in process..so is it dat da applicant above 18 yrs are only considered for travel history delay???

I got my letter that CIC said it mailed to me.. took 3 days... They are asking me to redo IMM 5540 sponsorship questionnaire... The thing is.. I don't see anything wrong with it... I am asking you guys... For example first page question 8.. it asks "have you resided in countries other than Canada?" my answer is "no" but there is a "Yes" section... Did you guys cross it out and write "N/A"? perhaps that's what they are talking about? I am going to do this this weekend and mail it away overnight to Ottawa... They also asked me to give an original and recent letter of employment indicating start date, annual or hourly rate of pay, and regular hours per week for myself... That's a surprise! I'm gonna pick one up today at work, but I did not think that would be needed... Did they lose the one I sent? I just do not know. I am just wondering what could be wrong with my IMM 5540 so it was returned. Thank you for your help!! and it was mailed from the Ottawa Pilot Program.. just so you guys know.

Hi guys, after collecting and filling in our forms we sent them via mail to the immigration(Mississauga). we send on 25th january and we received a receiot letter on 26th january. we awaited until 19th april and we got a letter from cic that the immigration had approved my husband as the sponsor meanng he had reached the requiremnts. thats the first stage, my file now has to be assed too so it was send to nairobi to be procesesed thats the stage two. keeping my fingers corseed to hear from them someone who ha the same experience???P-leae replyyy

This is my timeline :January 25th we sent file to missasauga Jan 26 we received an ackoldgement that they have received the package.april 29th we received email which had the UCI number and I checked status same very DAyit said th file has been sent to Nairobi.after one month say may 1st another update status it says Medicals received.today's is 19th may and the status is still the same.I will updated if anything new comes around.just pray this thing will be very soon over so I can be with my love

Im from venezuela...regular proccessing time is 25 months ...so bad but hopefully our proccess will take less...


My status did not change from January!!!!!! my hubby was approve as sponsor

Yes we have Kenia and Venezuela with Afganistan the most high time so bad....But I wish for all applicants to have less time with this hard proccess..

We received a PPR for ND on May 22nd and we sent the passport with FEDEX the same day. Does anyone know when the status on e-CAS can change to In Progress or Decsion Made? What is the most recent pattern we are seeing from ND? Thanks
