I have been doing some googling on the medicals received bit from Buffalo. We really can assume nothing at this point. Some people were still transferred after they had that update on ecas. some took months for anything else to happen, some took weeks. some were still contacted to submit other docs.

I guess all we can conclude is that our meds weren't lost!

hi guys sorry for my delay really thank u for ur words and ur encouragements all the way; i really like our group especial thanks for I.N, Amoss, Amanda, pelipeli, Dr Eng, canadiangirl, podkayne, amira, missimpatient, eludor and if i forget anyone i'm sorry...also congrats from me for those who just got the approval, sarsicola and others, i know it's a great feeling for those who didn't get it yet don't worry it will come....just pray and b patient...also some approvals could come by mail, so one more week of delay....take care everyone!!

Congrats. Can you please update on the forum once you have the CSQ, I want to know how long Imm.Quebec will take to process the CSQ.

thaank u huerlaw no problem i will....we plan to send the envelope soon and from what i know it's pretty fast, maybe 2-3 weeks to get it, let's say maximum 4 (hopefully they won't change like CIC did when we applied : )....if u pay for it by credit card u know they started the process in the moment the MICC transaction appears on the credit card...good luck!!

Congratulations missmini and others who recently got approval!!! I applied on jan 26th though and still nothing and feeling depressed We are very worried that there are many problems in our application...no option-c (sponsor is not working, submitted 1 year of bank statements with interest instead, included a letter explaining i havent filed my taxes for last 2-3 years and will file when i come back), no birth certificate is included for applicant (we will submit affidavit from parents to delhi? would that help? or do we need it for sponsorship and identification of applicant at this point?), and my reference letters from family are included in applicant's envelope instead of sponsors (sponsor and applicants parents stating that we plan to return to canada to settle there when my husband gets PR, do they look at both parts (applicant and sponsor documents when evaluating for sponsorship eligibility?), i also forgot to include my (sponsors) online job search and applications/replies in Canada (we plan to submit to Delhi also??)...this is all giving me a big migraine headache and if anyone can help me that will be great...would these reasons cause rejection for our application?

thank u ashunandal and really try to breathe and think that the officer is a little slower, some applications in front of u take longer or maybe they didn't even open it yet....i really think they r not trat strict, especially abt ur plans of return especially at this stage...me too i'm outside canada, i have no job waiting for me, here even if i work it won't help in any way there, i showed no job search i didn't even do any so far (but i had some letters from potential employers, not that they mean much, it's not a job offer)...but just like u, i am here just to b together, i have no family here and i believe u also have no family in India, just ur husband, ur family is in Canada right...and i believe u r actually Canadian born or lived there for long time right? these r strong points and they can see them even if u didn't mention them directly
me too i showed bank statements for the income but it was not too much and other ties with Canada (bank accounts, credit cards, my name appears on my parents' rental contract - i was living there too, electricity contract, basically anything i had before i left Canada i never changed them or cancel them, didn't want to cause extra headache for my parents)...all this u can also send them later if the embassy asks...i did fill in the taxes until this year but i had no option C (not required for QC) but i did see other people outside Canada without it who were approved....maybe it takes a few days longer but they won't reject or return the application cuz of it...
also i believe they check now both the sponsor and the applicant documents just to make sure all the important forms r filled in and all the imp documents r there (they will open everything)....otherwise they won't b asking for medicals, police checks fbi checks etc at this stage they will ask for their submission after the approval.....so i think they will see the letters of support from ur family....my only concern from what u said is his birth certificate which is important and in some checklists is mandatory (not sure if it's the same for ND) but even that, if they were to return cuz it's missing they would have probably done it already....so try not to worry, try to take a few days away from this and u will see when u come back, u'll actually share ur good news

after sponsorship approval, we were able to access hi eCAS after 3 days.
ive tried logging on to eCAS today (April 26) after receiving the PPR (dated April 23) and i am able to access it.

Medical results have been received.

hopfully this is a good sign. try checking your ecas and see what it says !

hi samaseemo thanks for posting this....do u see this from the sponsor side or the applicant side?

for me it's like this: if i login with the UCI and sponsor details all i get is my name and nothing else; i also tried the receipt number and the file number but cannot login with those; if i login with the file number (F0********) and the applicant's details i get what u got except the medical results line...i'm actually surprised cuz i thought that that file number is for the sponsor application and at the applicant side the file number will b given by the embassy later and it's a different one....i think i'm confused...is it the same for u?...or maybe they change the way to make everything more straightforward

abt the medicals, even if i get that line i would still b confused...our medicals were sent to London instead of Paris (the doctors here all do like that since they think the VO should b Abu-Dhabi; but we did write the correct embassy, Damascus back then)....but i guess if the results r online (and they should b in their internal system) it does not matter...we'll see....it's way too early for that believe me, and maybe later that line will dissappear LOL don't get scared
and yeah, i'm officially in the Jan group, in e-cas they say Jan 31st good luck all!!

That doesn't slow your processing down, sometimes you can't log on if they are updating it. Try again later.

for me as i said before, today, 2 days after the approval email i can use the UCI and the sponsor details but there's nothing except my name, not even application received, nothing at all, just my name in capital letters....and i think i can login only cuz this is not my first time in their system - my name and the same UCI were used before for other applications....i think for the ones who it's their very first time in CIC system with a new UCI, it will take a little longer; did u try also the file number (F0******) and the applicant's details? and how fast or slow u can login in ecas has no impact on how fast or slow ur application is processed
