Is POF necessary for me? suggestions please

Hi all,

Recently we received PR under FSW 2013. Initially I applied without job offer. Now after getting the visas me and my wife both have got job offer. We have got signed employment agreements with us. Do we still need to show the proof of fund while landing?

I have got all my funds in my Australian bank account as I was living in Australia before. I would prefer to open a bank account in canada and wire transfer the funds instead of carrying them. Will the immigration officers accept the Australian Bank statement as POF.

Please give your valuable suggestions.

Yes - you still need to show POF when landing. You can use your Australian bank statement.

i think u don't. As you have jobs in canada now CIC and govt does not need to worry abt ur finances and there POF shud not be required
