Is permanent job offer letter from employer to PGWP holder enough for FSW points

Does anybody in this forum have any idea whether a permanent job offer from an employer is enough to claim points for FSW under current rule or do I need to get LMIA.

I am applying to FSW under current rules before EE. My NoC is 1311, have PGWP and getting a permanent job offer from my employer.

AINP application ruined my life and expiring work permit soon no chance of applying to LMIA.

The answer is no. If you want to apply under the current rules then you need an approved LMIA. Having a permanent job offer letter on a PGWP is not enough to qualify.

Thank you for your reply. I found the following info about arrange employment in CIC website. I could not find out where do PGWP fall into these three categories.

Arranged employment

Depending on your case, there are different factors that make a job offer valid.

1. You currently work in Canada on a temporary work permit, and:

CIC issued your work permit based on a positive Labor Market Impact Assessment

2. You currently work in Canada in a job that is exempt from the LMIA requirement under:

-an international agreement (such as, the North American Free Trade Agreement) or
-a federal-provincial agreement.
where international agreement includes Professional, traders and investors

3. You currently:

are working in Canada in a job that is exempt from a Labor Market Impact Assessment, but not under an international or federal-provincial agreement,

AND

The employer should have a positive Labour Market Impact Assessment

The answer is no. If you want to apply under the current rules then you need an approved LMIA. Having a permanent job offer letter on a PGWP is not enough to qualify.

PGWP does not fall under the "international agreement" category.
