So I've applied to sponsor my wife on Dec 30 2011
CIC started to process my application on Apr 3 2012
On Sept 18 2012,I got a letter from CIC stating that I'm approved to sponsor my wife
On the same date, my wife got a letter from CIC saying:

It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for PR status as a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class. However, a final decision will not be made until all remaining requirements for becoming a PR have been met. Those requirements include medical, security, and background check. blah...blah..blah.....
and my wife may apply for an OWP/study permit

IS THIS THE AIP?

Since then...nothing, until last week that when my wife checked online, the status changed to DM, and a local office will contact my wife
I called CIC, the agent told me that the case was forwarded to local Scarborough CIC, agent said the case was approved....
Does this mean my next letter will be the landing interview from Scarborough ?

Thanks ALOT

It sure sounds like it is. Is your wife here or overseas? Have they requested her passport?

No, my wife is here in Canada...
I'm guessing that she don't need to submit passport if she's in Canada?
maybe bringing passport to the landing interview?

did you try asking on the inland 2011 thread?
here is the link, they might know more about it since they are also doing inland and a lot of us on here are doing outland process which is quite a bit different
