IRB Document Requested but no ARC

Hello Everyone,

I just got a letter from CIC asking for my wife's IRB Decision and 4 Passport size photos but no mention whatsoever of the ARC or a 400$ payment. I called my lawyer and MP and they both agreed that it was an unusual request since they usually require the IRB decision with the ARC.

Did anyone have such a request before? Could this be part of the relationship proof step or does it mean they are thinking about waiving the ARC? Btw, this is Mexico CIC.

Please let me know if anyone had a similar request. Thanks

A couple of a weeks ago, we received a request for IRB decision as well. Which was annoying as we had already sent it with our original application. Oh well. But no ARC request yet. I think they use the decision for determining if the relationship is genuine. And I think when the ARC request comes, they ask for it again. Maybe. Who knows what they are doing in Mexico! I just hope they ease hurry up!!
