I don't understand why people are freaking out about not having received any communication from CPC-M. It's not like anyone has exceeded the regular processing time. Especially those who submitted applications less than 12 months ago.

It's okay guys. Relax. I'm sure they are not delaying things deliberately. It's too early to even claim there is a delay in processing.

I submitted my application last week and the next time I will contact CIC will be in the summer when I'll submit my medical, unless they contact me earlier. I won't worry about 0 communication until after November 2014 (8 month mark for me). I believe it would be reasonable for me to inquire at that point if they have even opened my file. For most of you who submitted an application more than 8 months ago it seems that you know for a fact about AOR & transfers etc (since you submitted applications to CPC-V) and that you did receive some communication.

I think I won't post here for a while because there is just too much anxiety going on here. I personally found the call center to be very helpful. Try that if you are really concerned or mail a letter to CPC-M requesting an update.

In case you didnt know, before you submitted your application, approval has been 1 month per week starting january till about 2nd week of feb and that was when we received mails regarding the transfer. Now, we didn't hear anything, after that, nothing. So the reason why we can be a little impatient is the black out news about what is happening, you have just submitted your app so i know how it feels to have more understanding that your next news will happen 8 months after (if youre lucky enough) , just like when i have just submitted my app after the so called strike last year. I glanced and read how affected 2012 apps were anxious but i did understand them. I know i was in for the long wait but when youre almost there and suddenly this, then naturally people are more anxious. Nonetheless, WE are all remaining positive that good news is gonna happen soon.!

With Inland at what point/time after sending in an application to people usually have access to their status online? Is it after AOR or just at step 2?

Wow congrats! I looked at your profile and you are June applicant, now you got DM already and its only April. So basically your applications has been process for only ten months? I hope mine is going to be like that. Sigh.. im stressed out thinking about this whole process. Im hoping im getting any good news soooon.

With Inland at what point/time after sending in an application to people usually have access to their status online? Is it after AOR or just at step 2?

You should be able to acces it a couple days after AOR. Common mistake that you have to use the sponsor's personal details.
