My common law husbands status expired many moons ago but we got AIP with no questions so God please, so will u

Makes me feel better too,my status expired 11 years ago!-Hopefully I'll get my AIP without an interview too.

Help me please!!

We applied for the inland-common law sponsorship, it was received by CIC on the 10th of July 2012
It started processing October 31 2012,
January 17th, 2013 i got an e-mail with an attached document asking us to send more supporting documents to support our relationship.
A deadline of April 17th 2013 was given.
The required document was sent got delivered and signed for by CIC vegreville January 29th 2013,
Its march 21st 2013, there is no indication from CIC on my ecas that this document is received, I called CIC toll free number and they can not ascertain that too.

Looking at the inland spreadsheet everybody that applied the same period with me have all gotten their first stage approval and have their OWP.
Has anybody been in this same situation with me? Please help am about to loose it

I was in the same position as you.
I applied July 2011.
April 2012 CIC requested more information, which they received Early May 2012.
I did not get AIP until Oct. 1st 2012. So from the time they received it, it took almost 5 months.
If April 17th is your deadline, unfortunately chances are they won't return to your file until then, or even longer

I hope you hear before then but be prepared for a wait

Hi guys! I have great news! ;D

My sponsor received an email today that he meets the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor, and I received an email that says:

It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent resident
status as a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class.
We are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been completed. The
Canada Immigration Centre in Calgary will contact you concerning your permanent resident
status.

So IS THIS IT? AM I DONE?

Oh sorry, November 2, 2011 applied, AOR January 4th, 2012 and file transferred December 13th, 2012.

Watchie, you say file was transferred. Do you have AIP yet?

Hello my timeline is as follows. Sent application aug. 30, in progress nov 28. Request for additional information feb. 18. AIP mar. 19th.

Applied Mar 1st, 2012 (I sent my medical at the same time with my file)
AIP Sept 27th, 2012 (Medical results received)
DM - hopefully verrrry soon
PR - hopefully verrrry soon

We applied common law.
Appl recd June 4th
In process Sept 30
Requested more proof + meds + police report on nov 21, due by Feb 21.
We sent it in on feb 4th.
ECAS updated feb 25th, stage 1 approved

On my husbands ECAS ( applicant) his
Shows application in progress now ( for his PR) and yesterday updates to MEDS received.
