Oh, I know all about waiting. I spent 39 months from my initial application back in June 2009 to PPR on my second application last week. It can easily drive you crazy if you allow it to do so - there are days when I wonder if I have gone over the edge anyway, and each step forward doesn't bring as much relief as you hope, because until it's all done there's this big question mark hanging over your head.
All I can do is suggest to find other things to do to occupy your time.

I did too was asked to fill the client history update form. So this does slow down the app eh?? How much does it delay the application?? Computergeek...

Imim, did u get an ecase update or acknowlwdgement that they received the extra info?? I sent the info right away, vack in july, still no updates or news... I sent my app march 22...

Moeytja, my ecas is still the same, nothing has changed at all. Did you call them and ask if they've attached it? I tried so many times, but the lines are busy!

How can my fiancé (the sponsor) find out her ecas status?
I have my client number, but with hat the ecas shows application received.
I didn't get any email yet. (i go through a lawyer so i am not sure if he got one before or not)
My fiancé is a canadian citizen...
My applications was received march 12.

My boyfriend is canadian he got an UCI with the first email informing they received my application. Hope that helps I think u can call to CIC and request it.

we applied for a work permit together with our application but did not receive one with our AIP letter. I am assuming this is normal, but does anyone know how long it takes to get the work permit after AIP?

Or people are not informing busy bee.

We sent our application and it was confirmed received by Vegreville on January 9th but on my wife's Ecas it says Application Received May 31.

We moved about 3 weeks after our application was sent and both of us got new jobs, then CIC sent us the client history update to fill out in May and it was sent and received May 28th, so maybe thats why we are not here any news and they are already March applicants getting AIP.
