Waiting....Called CIC same thing as everyone, nothing else needed, just to wait until May

I applied in August 2011, Aip and wp in Oct 2012, finger prints in nov 2012. Since then I am waiting. Just got notes today that shows they exempt my medical as I did twice already, they are waiting for RCMP reply. Let's hope for good.

I was just reading the notes for my file and noticed that they will check my file again on 21st April 2013. I was amazed to see that if you read your notes carefully it will tell you when they would read it again. You will see something like "BF 60 days"

I just thought to mention this as it can help someone to see what is happening on their file and when they will check it again...

Iv never found the BF date in my notes. I just assumed the due date was the BF date but I really have no idea.

Quick question,
I got my DM on June 21st 2013 and since then waiting for my landing to be scheduled(Vancouver office I am assuming).
Do you know if there is a maximum time for this part of the process?(I read before 3 months but am not sure).

In what section did you find this "BF" date?
I can't find it anywhere. The only date that I could find that is in the future is August 30 2013 which is called the due date in the notes.
This date is exactly one year since we received the AIP.

1) I have an open work permit granted for 2 years after AIP and I'm am now into the 8th month of stage 2. Assuming I can get DM end of Apr or early May, should I renew my visitor record which will expire on 19 Apr?

2) If I already sent in application for renewal and paid $75 for it, would CIC refund the fee if DM is given by end of Apr?

You only need one status document, so if you have an OWP you don't need a separate visitor record.

If they have not processed your application by the time you land, when they DO get to your application they won't process it because you are not eligible for a visitor record (or any other temporary status). Only foreign nationals are eligible for work permits, study permits or visitor status. Citizens and Permanent Residents do not qualify for such status documents.

It seems as if your case is similar to mine. My wife's application was transferred to CIC Etobicoke in May, 20012 without AIP for Clarifications. In September, 2012 we were invited for interview.

In January, 2013 My wife go AIP and last week she received a letter requesting for medical to be redone and Landing fees to paid. Medical and security clearance for dependent (1) that is now 18yrs old. We were given timeline for these to be completed. By next week all these will be completed and forwarded to CIC Etobicoke. What is the Status of your application? Have you landed yet?
Please , is there any time line for their landing? Does anybody knows what next.

Please advice.

I got DM 10 days later you, till now , montreal office no news.

I got DM on Jan 29th and I got a letter from Scarborough office in March 8th and landing on April 19th

Hi Nazam, is it on the gcms notes? Where precisely. All I see is the due date. I have been wondering where the brought forward date is.

Last week, I received a letter from CIC asking me to fill out an information renew form.

Meanwhile, I checked my online status again.

We received your application for permanent residence on July 20, 2011.

We started processing your application on August 12, 2011.

We received the requested information on January 6, 2012. Thank you for providing the information.

A decision has been made and you will be contacted.

Medical results have been received.

" Medical results have been received. " is a new status just renewed a few days ago.

I was wondering if anyone has the similar situation as i do, and how long normally do i have to wait until DM?
