Any October applicant heard from CIC vegreville?

CIC received our application October 31st, 2011 (started processing January 16, 2012), haven't heard anything yet! The last couple months of waiting are tough, we're so close, but it feels so far away! ???

Yes, it now says Decision Made in both categories. Now we just have to wait for a letter about an appointment date. Gotta go back into thumb twiddling mode, lol

Hi. You are not the only one. We are waiting for 6 months to get stage 2 since AIP. Everything is ok in our file as per Vegreville and Foss note; just never ending background check. I think we are the happy selected one to have a full background check. Our BF date is weirdly still May 2 2012 and when we call Vegreville they say that everything is perfect they are waiting for the background check ann call back in October.

So like you we go on this site to get cheer up or reassure that everything will be alright. and it will be

This explains how access to information requests and privacy act request work. Note that in Canada there is no charge (it is a "privacy act" request) but out-of-Canada there is a $5 charge, and the request still must come from someone inside Canada.

As a matter of policy, I now request them for any in process file every 4.5 weeks or so.

i call and my bf date is 24 but it so sad there is no update on my file saying my background check is done the call center agent told me i have to wait 8 mths for stage 2 i can just die at this point any one waited 8 months for stage to or is he just saying that

I cant wait to see CIC start to process October Applicants. Inshallah before end of this month i hear something from them. My Police certificate is going to expired this month.
