Info about Pets

Hi, I’m planning om visiting my husband in canada next month. I have visitors visa and will be traveling from USA(fully vaccinated). I’m planning to bring my pet (small dog) with me for a 1 week vacation. Can i even bring the pet to on visitor visa? What are the requirements? I have al of his vaccination records and will be taking him back to USA with me.
