Indian PCC from BLS Vancouver - anyone did it?

Hi,

I'm planning to apply my INDIA PCC from BLS Vancouver (currently residing in Saskatchewan)

- If someone has applied: What's the actual fees and cheques that needs to be prepared (website is quite confusing!! :-X

- How many photos do we need?? ( checklist shows four(6) ..lol ..its four or six??

- does the work permit copy needs to be notarised or self attested??

I hope someone will answer these!!

okay so I got the PCC from BLS vancouver. Here is the procedure:

- call the BLS and pay the 50$ shipping (pickup & delivery) charge using your credit card. They will send you the payment receipt along with Fedex Coupon.

- Go to BLS website, fill and print 1 copy of main form and attach photograph on that(cross signed).

- fill and print 5 copies of particular form and attach photo on that too (cross signed with black pen)

- print your recent work permit copy.

- attach your passport and the payment receipt.

- add 4 more photographs just in case.

-send to BLS using the Fedex coupon they provided you through email while doing payment.

- It took mine about 2 weeks and the PCC is received.

I have three more questions:

1) For Payment - Should we provide two certified cheques as mentioned in their Vancouver Checklist? You have mentioned that you called and paid BLS $50 via Credit card for pickup and delivery. So for the (certificate+consular surcharge) and (bls processing fee), did you enclose certified cheques?

2) In the 5 copies of Particular Form should we paste a photograph on every copy (5 photographs apart from enclosing 4 photographs).

3) Should I also send my Old Passport along with my New Passport? I received my new one quite recently.

Hi,

1.) I only provided 1 certified cheque of $43.40 (i think that the fee) as 50$ postage charge was already cut through credit card.

2.) yes photograph needs to be pasted on all 5 forms, total 10 photos (1 on main form, 5 on particulars form and 4 extra ) .

3.) I'm not to sure about old passport, but usually everybody staples all their old and new passport together for records purposes. IMHO staple both the passport together and send it. (so they don't have 2 seperate PP , just one)
