ICES Request

Copies of my passport was requested on December 22 and there was a ghost update on Jan 10. Since then LPP has been in progress so I might be in the ICES list too as my physical presence is 1097. I‘ll have to order GCMS notes to be sure.

Anybody that can comment on the timeline to LPP completed after their agent requested the ICES notes?
No one knows. I have been searching for the same answer for a while now. My agent request ICES on 3rd Jan 2024 and no update so far.
Do you mind sharing your complete timeline, IRCC office and when was your ICES requested?
Sure, here's the timeline:
AOR November 2nd 2023
Background: Nov 26th 2023
Test completed Dec 22nd 2022
Notes request: Jan 29th 2024
ICES request 2nd Feb 2024
Notes recieved: Feb 26th 2024
LPP still in progress....
I hope we see some movement soon. I have tried alot to find out the timeline for the ICES request but could not find it. If you come across any information, please do share it here as well.

ICES Request: November 8, 2023
LPP Completed: March 4, 2024.
Primary office: Scarborough
Secondary office: Sydney.
Might I add that I requested 2 GCMS notes between Nov 8, 2023 and Feb 5, 2024. The 2nd GCMS note was delivered to my email on March 5, 2024 with LPP status as "Not Started". However the tracker was updated on March 6, 2024 with LPP Status: "Completed" with a March 4, 2024 date.

Congratulations, you are one step close to the finish line. And yes, your post is the most valuable one so far with regards to ICES. It looks like either CBSA taking 4 months to reply back to IRCC ICES request or IRCC is trying to wrap up cases within 12 months period from the date of AOR.... we ca never be sure about the citizenship process. Please keep us posted with your Oath ceremony schedule.
With regards to GCMS notes, you have 3 dates to consider:
- Date you order the notes
- Date the notes are generated. This is the most important date as the information is valid up to this date. It can be found on the third line of the first page of the notes.
- Date you received the email.

Today the tracker was updated with Oath date of 21 March, 2024. It also showed that Oath Ceremony was in progress since March 8th.

Yesterday I recieved a oath invitation for April 4th. LPP on the tracker showed completed on March 12th. My ICES was initiated on Feb 2nd. Hope this helps! Good vibes for all who are stuck at LPP after ICES request, I hope you get good news soon!

if ICES has to do something with presence mine was requested on 24 january and my physical presence marked completed on 2nd april but still awaiting prohibition to be marked completed. its for both presence or prohibition or only physical presence i have no idea .
