Hi,

I applied for TRV for my parents in June 2020. I went into labour and had a preemie baby hence my need for support. I have filled the web forms seeking for urgent processing, sent email with 'coivd 19' as title, all to no avail. I am hanging on to the little help around but getting tired as each day goes by.

I don't know what else to do, Please advice.
Thank you

Where are your parents from? Processing times for TRVs are quite long right now unfortunately.

Is your baby in hospital? Are they receiving medical care at home? Just having any newborn is tiring. Focus on your baby and yourself and purchase prepared meals and let cleaning go if it isn’t urgent. That is just typical newborn fatigue is your partner not helping? He should be. Have your parents done biometrics?

True that, they are from Nigeria
Estimated processing times are around 9.5 months right now. So they likely have a few more months to wait before they hear a decision.

Good luck.

If you need help I would try to get help from your spouse or in Canada. With all these new variants there are likely more stringent travel restrictions like has already happened for travellers in South America to the US and UK.
