Hi All,
When I went to Canada for my "first landing", I got sick and went to the emergency in Niagra Falls. Because I did not have a health card, they said it will cost me around 2000 USD (or some amount like that - I forgot), and I said no problem as I was in pain. I got treated and left the emergency hospital. I gave them my hotel address.
They took a copy of my COPR and made me sign some form. But strangely, they did NOT ask me to pay anything on the spot.
I did purchase medical insurance before hand covering my short period in Canada.
What will happen now? How will I pay the cost of the hospital visit? and How do I claim it from the insurance?
Thank you.
