Hello and thank you for your assistance
I am supposed to move with my family (2 adults and 2 kids) to Calgary, and my annuly salary will be around 82k. I want to know how much taxes will I be paying, and how much will I take home.
what is the best bank to open an account with?

Also, any idea how can I rent a house before moving?

thank you very much in advance

Your take-home will be around $59K.

Hopefully others can answer your remaining questions.

Check out the Alberta Treasury Board and Finance site below. It has a tool you can use to estimate pretty much any tax situation.

About $22,000 so you'll actually see about $60,000.

You'll pay about $12k in federal income tax and about $6k in Alberta provincial income tax. The rest will be max contributions to the Canada Pension Plan (CPP) which is about $2,400 and Employment Insurance (EI) which is a bit over $900 if I recall rightly.

After all govt. taxes; your employer can deduct more for its own Pension, Benefits and Union dues (if applicable). That can range from $100~$200 per week meaning $5k~$10k yearly. So, your take home can be as low as $50k/year.
