How long does it take CPP-O to stamp PR visas?

Actually my medical was done aug 2012, and in july gcms its expiry date was aug 2013. With docs request and passport request, cic didnt ask me for redo medical. If I assume that my medical has been extended then do you have any idea that they extend it for how long?

Mine took 24 days. They received the passports on Sept 16 and sent them back on Oct 10th.

I don't have an answer to your question but want to warn you about one issue. Since you don't have a US visa be careful when you flagpole at the US border. Make sure you clarify to them that you don't intend to enter the US and that you just want to flagpole and get back to the Canadian side. You don't want them to mark you in their system as "denied entry" as this will give you trouble in the future.

One time I had to flagpole at the US border when I didn't have a US visa. Although I did clarify that I only wanted to flagpole the stupid officer had marked me as denied entry to US because of no visa (didn't know what this is back then). Now every time I go to US I get stopped by the customs, they keep me waiting for an hour or more, and ask me why I tried to enter the US without a visa in 2009. Every single time!

Hi DrmBig,

You can actually call CIC call center and make an appointment with your nearest immigration office to finish your landing process. You dont even need to cross the boarder.

Ottawa have had my passport since September 11 and I'm still waiting :/

14 Days in my case.
CIC received my passport on October 4 and my tracker got activated on October 17!
out for delivery now! I should get it today! Yay! 2.5 years of processing time is over now!

Got my passport back just took 3 weeks....though i will only land in November 22nd cos i am off to the states and i heard you cant come back in without a pr card so i will wait a month then.......but good to know the jouney is almost done.
