how an IO assess the number of days you lived inside canada at any airport ?
what documents he has to decide this factor, except an entry stamp when u left canada and arrived in anyother country.

They also have access to airline manifests. My husband experienced this first hand. They knew about entries and exists that were not covered by stamps in his passport.

Nothing happened to my husband. He wasn't a PR at the time. He was just a visitor and they were asking him why he was spending so much time in Canada.

All I am saying is that immigration knew all of my husband's airplane arrival and departure dates without looking at any passport stamps. Since he didn't have passport stamps for all of his departures and arrivals - they must have obtained this information from airline manifests.

I don't know what they know but I have heard that they work with US immigration and maybe some other countries as well as it is possible that they look into other info like airline manifests. If there is somebody they decide to check up on, they can also get full access to his facebook. I heard of that when a guy was deported for working illegally, the evidence against him was a photo he put on facebook, only shared with his friends.

Thing is, you don't know what they know so don't try to lie to them.

I 100% agree with you that CIC has got access of CBSA records and airline manifest but how come CIC is sending lots of RQs to applicants who claim to be present in Canada for 1095 days or even more than that.I cant believe that all RQ receivers could be misrepresenting information about their presence .

Yes - immigration has access to this information at the port of entry (airport). This is where my husband spoke with immigration and they knew all of his exits and entries into the country even though he didn't have stamps for most.

They might not have 100% information so if they send an RQ to a person who really was in Canada for more than enough time, there could be a reason why they suspect that person. For example, maybe their list of travels does not match the dates that immigration already has.
