yes international license will be valid for 6 or 12 months,,,Saudi license is valid for 1 year as a international license about Pakistan i don't know,,,,,

U'll have to apply for Ontario License in order to drive car. License driver has 3 categories and they depends on the experience you show to them..

i think there is not a much benefit to having international license, because it is valid only for 1year so when you need to renew it you need to sent it back to your own country..sometimes licensing personal may demand for original applicant then there may be a cause of problem...so if you have license in your country bring it with you it will help you more than international license, how much old license is that much benefit for you...so according to me there is no benefit of international license its a waste of time and money..

As far as I know, Ontario allows 1 month to drive with the international license (like Alberta allows 3 months). After that, you will be needing canadian driving license (state wise). Now there is one advantage of international license and that is, if you submit your international and your local license, they (if convinced) will not take any exam and will allow you to receive your license directly.
