Dear Members,

Read the poem & thought of Sharing on this Forum.

"For everything there is a season,
And a time for every matter under heaven:

A time to be born, and a time to die;
A time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal;
A time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to seek, and a time to lose;
A time to keep, and a time to throw away;
A time to tear, and a time to sew;
A time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate,
A time for war, and a time for peace."

There is time for everything as the Lord, our God had said. We just have to wait for the thing we wish to have. He answers our prayers, but in the right time and in the right setting. He wants only the best for us, because He is our Father and we are His children.

"Some flowers grow best in the sun. Others grow well in shade. Remember, God puts us where we grow best. So enjoy life in every situation."

Then we will value this time

I mean this with respect, but is this an immigration forum, or a church?

Do you not think this would be more appropriate on a religious forum?

Not everyone here is religious.

this is not just a "poem", it is taken from The Bible, Book of Ecclesiastes Chapter 3: Verses 1 to 8.

And is therefore not appropriate on a Canada immigration forum.

You guys want to preach, please go find a church?

This is one of the best places to write about God`s goodness.
We dont mean to offend anyone .

1)My coming to Canada is testimony to Jesus` goodness. Am happy with a good job after losing almost all hope and making what I called silly mistakes. But I continued to trust in God.

2) If possible dont rush to quit your job before being assured of employment in Canada. Ultimately you will have to leave it in order to mentain your PR status in Canada but be extremely careful and wise in your decisions. Most peoples misery in Canada has come from that exuberance and over excitation about migrating. take your time and think through your decision.

3)Net work- If theres anything else I should tell you today. Network! DOnt waste any day relaxing at your elder brother`s home when you are un emplyed. The only person to connect you to a job may be at a given street on a specific day at a time when you are wwatching TV.

4) Dont despise any job. I managed to get my current job after networking through a farmland job. Make use of evry opportunity!

5)Process your drivers licensce immediately. Most jobs will not hire you without a license to drive. DOnt waste even a week in Canada without going to the SGI to do the written test , get a learner`s and then a road test. DOnt fear to fail. you may not fail after all . if you do , you will learn from it.

6) DOnt rush to sell off your property at home bse you are migrating.

7)dont make enemies at your current job because you are migrating. Its good morals to remain their friend. 2ndly Canadian employers want references and be certain they will contact them. It leaves one suspicious if none of your former supervisors gives a reference for you.

8) Prepare for every interview as if you are preparing for your final exam. know about your potential employer. Put your self in their shoes. What would you ask you if you were the interviewer.

9)God`s will prevails. If he wants you in Canada , nothing will stop you.

10) Pray

No, are you? If I were a moderator clearly I would have deleted the post already. I am not a moderator, so I haven't. But that doesn't mean I can't voice if I believe people are making inappropriate posts.

But you are perhaps right. Perhaps I should simply report the thread to the moderators and request that they delete the thread.

Please look at it this way - if I started preaching here that there is no God and you're all deluding yourselves, I imagine I would offend people rather quickly. Therefore I chose not to do that, and I keep my religious beliefs private and keep it relevant and keep my posts on the subject of Canada immigration.

Ok, so the odd "thanks be to god" or whatever if people get good news, fair enough. But when people are quoting entire passages from the bible it really is irrelevant and forcing their religion on other people.

Why is it such a big ask simply to ask people to keep their posts relevant?

If I wanted to be preached at, I'd go find a church or seek a religious forum.

who is the one preaching now?

1st it is none of your business what me and the other guys are posting, 2nd if you abhor it, just go away, coz it is not for you. if it is offensive or inappropriate, let the mods do their job. that is their job and not yours. as far as i can see, quotes like these has never been removed from this site, so what are you fusing about?

if you want to post your view, go ahead and post it, but perhaps do it in another thread and not attack somebody's post, that is of course if you have the decency to do it, or you just want to be just trolling around... capiche?
