FWSP: OVERALL CAP 500 SUB CAP 300???

Hi Experts!
A new eligible occupations list, with a total of 24 occupations;
An overall cap of 5,000 new applications for all eligible occupations, including a sub-cap of 300 new applications for each eligible occupation;

WAT IF SOME OCCUPATIONS ARE FILLED UP FAST AND OVERALL CAP REACHES 5000 AND OTHER OCCUPATIONS DOESN'T EVEN REACH THEIR QUOTA OF 300. MEANS THE FSWP SLOT GOING TO GET CLOSED THAN? SOME ONE PLZ CLARIFY MY DOUT. THANK YOU

Cap for each category is 300!! cannot cross that.
But how soon would a most sought after occupation typically get filled? Within days/months??

Last year one category reached its cap in less than a week. Others took months.
