i ment that is you make a draft from here for canada , take it along to canada , ull do all the landing formalities at the airport and there you will show the proof of funds and draft will be shown, agreed , and as soon as you reach home doing all the formalities then send the draft back ( via courier)for cancellation and the money will automatically be transferred to your acount in india . and give a check to your uncle.. undated cancellation letter can be written before hand and kept with him

other wise there are banks which you can open an account in india and is operable in canada as soon as you reach there and from there you can send the money to your own account in india or his account . well please mail me your number (dr.anandsachin @ gmail.com) and ill explain over tel .

is it really possible to send back to India the HDFC Bank issued Bank draft worth around CAD 15000/-???

U mean i can mail the bank draft to Indian address of HDFC & the bank will transfer it into my account???


what formailities will i need for cancellation of HDFC Bank draft after landing???

last week i send inquiry about my application status, today i got email as usual.....

hi best of luck to all for the coming tuesday well i do have hopes for this tuesday otherwise as every1 is speculating because of the student visa rush, this ougt to clear by next week so on 7 well definately expect movement . just lest pray it comes .. and comes fast .

is it mandatory to have surname to know ur ecase status from CIC site? i mentioned N/A in surname column...

if for example ur name is jasvinder singh and u dont have surname then they (cic people) enter ur surname as singh. so enter singh as ur surname to know ecas status. try this.

put your 1st name in the place of surname.
that will 100% work. in my previous passport there was no surname. and while travelling airlines people put my 1st anme twice e.g Jairam Jairam,

so you just put 1st name. tell us your status

according to me your case is slow but on the right track, so bear CHC for some more time and maintaine the balance, soon you will recieve the Medicals and a month later Visa maximum of 2 months deal.

dont take risk at this point of time.

I will maintain the POF.
I cant understand the Delay at Crime officer. as file was sent to Crime officer on the
7 july with the dead line of 45 days which ends on 22nd August 2010.
it was clearly instructed by VO that on completion of Criminal check they should send the Med,RPRF Request.

what exactly Includes the criminality check?

all other verifications are already done.what else they do at criminal check.do they verify POF at Crime check?

no friend Background/crime check doesn't include POF but checks like any criminal record in the country you have visited and the country of your origin.

it also include your relations with any political parties( shiv sena or SIMI type...), militry services etc. which may cause any kind of threat to their country (Canada).

once that will clear they will probably put a comment on your CAIPS like OK or no record found.

then again it may take couple of weeks to send you Med.

According to me it should come in next ten days.

Hi Bnimsin,
Seems that your application is now safe frm anykinds of danger zone, since you don't have any criminal records in yr native country. I think as soon as the deadline date given to Crime officer(45 days) will be overed your medicals will be issued. so at lest u cal feel a kind of relief now.

I think mine is also almost at the same stage and lets hope and pray that we will get it soon.
Binimsin pls could you help me too for the same about how to send an order of CAIPS as I am also interested for the same and I don't have any idea of it. How can I pay for it...? pls be informed that I have used Representative so could I do it myself or my representative should do it? how long do they take it to respond?etc.
