Hey many congrats gangster9rls :).

Thanks a lot for showing me the rays of hope dear. But, I am recognizing few 'post-application-dispatch' mistakes. My own birth certificate is in native language and I did a mistake by not sending an affidavit in support of my birth certificate. However, I have sent an e-mail to CIC regarding this and requested them to visit my pass-port copy for my date of birth related things. I have asked CIC for any other info/document they may need pertaining to this. What will be your advice for me? should I wait or courier them an affidavit without any delay?

Regards,

hi Srinivas

thanks buddy

Frankly speaking, affidavit can not be accepted for language support.
Did you send your SSC certificate, then it will be considered for proof of age.
As per CIC, if the document is not in English /French, the documents should be translated to either of these language and send
original translation, along with translator affidavit.
This is very serious thing Mr. Srinivas sine it was used for calculation of your age towards 67 points.
Passport not at all accepted and there were some instances where application got rejected because of Passport copy as proof of birth.
In your case you have the birth certificate and you forgot the translation.
It will happen some times, it depends on case processing agent.
no use of mailing CIC, they don't consider

Better to send the translated Birth certificate as early as possible along with explanation letter.
If luck is your side then they may accept it.

by the way generally from India, all birth certificates are in English and native languages.

My application sending was delayed due to un -availability of my birth certificate.
I waited for my birth certificate almost three months because of Andhra-telangana issues.

Finally I can suggest you send the traslated birth certiifcate to CIC as ealry as possible
that only you can do from your side right now.

Dear Hearttech,

Please visit this link http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/proof-of-funds-requirements-explained-t45043.0.html . I found this thread somewhere on this forum. I am not sure, how much the info is authentic but seems convincing to me ( this is just my personal feeling, not 100% correct though).

All the best!

Dear gangster9rls,

Thanks for your reply. Can you kindly advice me over the place from where I can get my birth certificate translated? I have my SSC certificate where my date of birth is mentioned but not parents name included.

hey srinivas
I am following continuously these forums from last year June i.e June 2013
there are independent forums for each country
since my visa office is Manila, Philippines
I am following Philippines forum also
From there I came to know from one of the forumite

Initially i.e from June 2013 on wards for NOC 2134 the trend is like 30 application per month i.e one application per day.
But there were two occasions where 2 application per day reached.
one time i.e in the month of October 2013 for 15 days span--27 applications reached
second time i.e in the month of Jan 2014 for 14 days span--30 applications reached

but based on next update we can predict whether feb applicant will be in the race or not for NOC 2134

srinivas

by virtue of your name i thought that your are from Andhra
If I am wrong, my sincere apology.

Generally on SSC certificate father name will be available
thats enough, notarized it and affix one affidavit from your parents that your are thier son along with place of birth and date of birth.
Google it , you can find number of sample templates for affidavit.

if you want to translate your birth certificate
then visit Notary public in your town, get it translated it
and take the affidavit from him for translation
along with original translations of birth certificate send translator affidavit and certified copy of your birth certificate.

--------------------------------------------
Translation of documents

Any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by:

the English or French translation; and
an affidavit from the person who completed the translation; and
a certified copy of the original document.
Note: An affidavit is a document on which the translator has sworn, in the presence of a commissioner authorized to administer oaths in the country in which the translator is living, that the contents of their translation are a true translation and representation of the contents of the original document. Translators who are certified members in good standing of one of the provincial or territorial organizations of translators and interpreters of Canada do not need to supply an affidavit.

Important information. Translations by family members are not acceptable.

Certified true copies

To have a photocopy of a document certified, an authorized person must compare the original document to the photocopy and must print the following on the photocopy:

“I certify that this is a true copy of the original document”,
the name of the original document,
the date of the certification,
his or her name,
his or her official position or title, and
his or her signature.
Who can certify copies?

Persons authorized to certify copies include the following:

In Canada:

a commissioner of oaths
a notary public
a justice of the peace
Outside Canada:

a judge
a magistrate
a notary public
an officer of a court of justice
a commissioner authorized to administer oaths in the country in which the person is living
Family members may not certify copies of your documents.

Hi shrini

As gangster9rls explained you pls proceed to get a Notorized affadavit stating your date of birth. In my case I didn't had the birth certificate hence I have consulted this forum and have sent a Notorized document stating my birth certificate.

I am sure that once you sendcthem and looking on the present application filing rate it would not be difficult for the officer to locate your file and docs.

Sent it now..... god will help.

Regards,

Let me know your DOB........
If you are born before 1980.....,,, you don't need to apply your birth certificate.....
Your matriculation or X th certificate is enough proof to prove your DOB..,,,,
Besides, all immigration depts consider X th certificate as proof of DOB..,,,,,..

Hope all is clear now.....
Good luck :)
