PER to Medical Received time lapse seems to have increased to an average of 3 months for AUG / SEPT applicants.

Many AUG / SEPT applicants with NOV / DEC PER have seen just 2nd line updation...and still waiting for MR.

Time to practice meditation....

You can apply for SIN at Service Canada counter at the airport itself. Its a five minute job and you will get your SIN immediately.

Seniors help!!!! My FSW Visa was issued...I want to extend the expiry date of the same passport I have the Visa on (printed) before I travel to Canada...Do I need to notify CIC about the new info? will it be a problem? thanks in advance

you will get a new passport.you will have to carry both passports with you while entering canada. But I assume your passport must have 6 months validity left when it was stamped. The passport is reissued within one year of validity left or expiry.
My advise is that you enter canada on same passport and get it renewed later on.

I remember at the time of getting MR as well, some of the May 14th applications were delayed which included mine as well.

At that time, i got my MR on Nov 4th and you got your MR couple of days later. So now, i got my PPR 4 days back which means PPR for you is NEAR! All the very best.

VFS is the only option and it is very safe also....

U need to take the email print and have to submit that along with passport.

Table u need to fill with pen no attached letter/doc required

Thank you for the reply guys. I ended up sending it directly via courier as I wouldn't have been able to visit VFS atleast till next week. Hopefully it will be delivered to right place/section. Appreciate the help!
