Submitted file: 9 June. Finally AOR1 (from Sydney) on 15-Oct. Things are really slow. Wonder what would happen once its transferred to NDVO. Going to be long wait for some.... I am pretty sure this all because of volume of applications that they need to process.

After dialing what would be extension # required to reach out for cic person. I reach to extension that requests file number and I don't have that yet. I wanted to know status of my application . Please let me know .

Question: While your outland spousal application is in progress can you apply for your spouse's work permit, or that would still require LMIA?

Chance are very very little. Most applicants dont. Few may. Say 1%. :D
