Hello Seniors,
Really need your advise here. I am getting too nervous now.

Files my application under 2174 category. App received date: 12th May 2014.
I was due in Nov end and informed the same to the visa office however I got my medical request along with RPRF, PCC which I had completed.
I then got my PPR request to be submitted by Jan25th. By that time I had just got my baby's passport done and I submitted all his papers on 13th Jan and then submitted all 3 of our passports (Mine, my spouse and my baby's) on Jan 24th.
Now VFS status shows that it is being processed at the NDVO office.
Also, my status of the application changed back to "In progress" from "Decision Made" on 12th Feb 2015. I am now waiting for my son's medical and have not received them for more than a month now. However, I checked with the bank and my demand draft was credit in the beneficiary bank in Jan only.
Do i need to keep on waiting for the medical request for my son or can I get it done on my own?
How long will it now take to get the mdeical request and then get our passports with visa?

Some one Please advise.

We haven't sent PCC with our application so I need to know that how much time it will take to issue PCC in india. should we need to start processing for it. when they will ask for PCC?? and when can we expect our medical request?

Below 3 situations are applicable if you are applying PCC from PSK or RPO.

You are the luckiest if your current address and the address on the passport is the same.
Now for those who arent that lucky and the current addresss doesnt match the address on the passport. If your address is still in the same city and the passport is under 3 years old , you have a chance of getting the PCC on the same day. (I got it this way!)

The last scenario is that if your current address is of a different city from the one in the Passport. You then walk away after 5 hours , with an acknowledgement receipt stating a "pre-verification required from police".

• From here, your application goes to the Passport Verification Cell. The file moves physically from PSK to PVC. So this step might take time. After the file comes in , it has to be entered into the police records. That takes 2-3 more working days. Then a field officer from the area of your current address is assigned your file. He can take upto 3 days to come to the house and make the file.Then the file is physically returned to the RPO. Then the RPO scans the file back into their system and you would receive an sms to come and collect the PCC.

I was very disappointed and had stopped checking my ECAS. In the morning today, My hubby just to make me feel lighter said that today he will get us "decision made" when he comes home the evening.
He just called me and informed me that its a DECISION MADE!!!!!!! Congrats to all of you there who got their DM/PPR/MR and All the very best to all of you waiting.
