Should we apply for GCMS, it's been 3 months our Medicals were done and still no update on PPR status...
Patience is killing us...
Please provide us ur thoughts on this..
Getting worried day by day.

Wait for few more days...ndvo is issuing PPR on a random basis...you can expect it soon...I am waiting since sep 27 (~ 5 months now after medicals).

guys.. is it okay to resign after "Decision made" update on ECAS or shall wait till PPR mail? Is there any uncertainty still?

Date of resignation is very crucial for me due to personal aspects and the earlier is better.. Earlier like tomorrow!

Thanks for your positive reply. In this case, before I exit KSA, I believe I should book my KLM flight online through my credit card from Khi to Calgary, in this case no need for Visa and I can smoothly travel from khi without any transit Visa (correct)

As being KSA resident normally, I go to Dubai, bahrain any where on Iqama, as I will be going on final exit and surrendering my Iqama so which is why wanted to know if I can fly from khi via GCC or not?


Secondly, KLM route will be which one? Can you share some details? Is it Abudhabi - Amsterdam - Calgary. Will I require any visa for Amsterdam? Is there any way I can confirm that no transit Visa is required If I book my flight with KLM online from KHI to Calgary.

To check the transit visa requirement, the best is to call KLM and they can guide you with more accurate information. As per my experience the flights that are having transit stopover do not need any sort of visa as you are not going out of the airport neither you have to go to the immigration dept of the transit airport. They transfer you to the departure lounge once your flight arrive at the transit airport. This is how it happens when I travel from Kuwait to Lahore or Sialkot by flydubai, emirates, air arabia or etihad. Once you surrender your Iqama of Saudi Arabia, then you cannot use the facility to get visa in Dubai or Abudhabi as you are enjoying now with Saudi Iqama.

The flight route is Khi ----> AbuDhabi ------> Amsterdam -----> Calgary
