If you are curious, apply for GCMS notes. I don't think there's anything wrong with that office though. It's one of the best, actually.

Ottawa apparently has too many passports waiting for stamping (source: call center). Hence, they have halted PPR for FSW applicants. The last FSW applicant getting PPR was in october, so it has been 3 months without any new PPR for FSWs. Even though CEC and PNP applicants ARE getting PPRs, they have been waiting forever to get their visas stamped. So there's that.

I want to share my happy moments with you that My Decision has been made and ECAS 4 line has been updated. I have submitted my (revised new passport) for VISA stamp.

ECAS Details are:

1-We received your application for permanent residence on June 25, 2014.

2-We started processing your application on December 2, 2014.

3-Medical results have been received.

4-31st Dec 2014...A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision

Guys!!

Just got a call from my bank (ICICI Bank) that DD has been cleared on 29th Dec.
Was really worried considering that my app dated 2nd sept as per me was stated to be recd by cic on 20th Oct. I still am cautious regarding PER considering recent events. Will celebrate only once I receive PER.

Thanks to all forum members who believed in me even when I myself had given up hope. Wouldn't have been possible without the strength to sustain that you guys have given me. Don't want to take names as the list is endless and don't want to miss anyone even inadvertently.

Will update SS in the evening. My timelines as follows :

Noc : 1114
App recd date As per me : 2nd sept.
App recd date As per cic : 20th Oct.
DD encashment date : 29th Dec.

no per yet

i tried 2 times to get UCI no by callong on 0016139444000. both time different persons pick but they said they dont have any information abt FSW programme and cannot provide anything about the federal skilled worker programme.

Dear Friends, please help me.

I received PPR2 mail from cic London, I am british citizen so I don't need to send passport but I have sent the documents to the following address as mentioned in the attached letter:

VPU Processing (LDN)
Immigration Division
Canadian High Commission
2-4 Cockspur Street
London SW1Y 5DH
United Kingdom

But I just noticed that CIC london is moved to canada House, so should I contact CIC London or just Send the documents again to new addrress

you should contact them by phone first to confirm the address, to avoid delaying in issuing COPR.

I wonder how you managed to squeeze that info from the call center. Only thing they ever told me was "We have no info on FSW applications"

Today I called CIC
NOC 2132 – 22ND October 75 days!!!
The officer was very helpful, he asked me my details and said that till date my profile has not be entered in CIC system and with this no UCI has been created, as per him its normal that a profile may not be created or it may be returned. NO DD has been charged
DID anyone earlier got his file because of the above scenario
Please advise I am out of the game or what

I am 17th oct applicant, I was trying since 2days to CIC to enquire regarding the status but the call was not been able to connect to the person, saying due to high volume of incoming calls..pl let me know which number did u called ? so that I can try to and know the status. even my DD was not yet charged.. :-[ :-[ :-[

Dear forumites,

Me and my wife went to medical exams today and I would like to describe it briefly:
Doctor's secretary took our forms and photos along with documents, had us seated for 10 min and then the doctor called us. He was very personable and asked questions regarding to our health history like if we had ever gone thru surgery, ever used drugs, ever had any contagious disease and so on, about 7-8 "yes-no" questions. Yet in his office we made the following exams:
* Blood pressure
* Thorax percussion
* Auscultation of Heart and Lungs
* Urine, they check for density and pH only.

Next, he made requests exams for HIV I and II (Elisa), VRDL (syphilis) and Thorax PA to search for traces of tuberculosis.
These laboratorial/Rx tests will be ready by Wednesday and will be sent directly to the doctor who will submit the information to the eMedical system. According to them, by Friday everything will be done.

I made the exams in Sao Paulo / Brazil

Received PER few minutes ago!!!!

I had applied on May 7 and got NER due to insufficient points. The only possible way to get that 67 was to get the highest scores from IELTS, due to my age. I made it although even I did not believe I could... I had applied as soon as I got the results and managed to apply just a week before my son turns 18 which is the age limit for dependent child.

Never give up, never... Not only for PR process, but anything you really want.

After waiting 23 days since my Credit Card was declined, they charged it today!!! The transaction still showes as Pending but I called the bank and they told me it's approved.
I hope all will goes through..
