I read somewhere about mentioning Visa Office. I have gone through copies of my application, but could not find where this was supposed to be mentioned. Can someone who has used the latest forms help!

In the new generic form, there is no option of selecting VO. CIO will decide it themselves on behalf of you.

Hello Fellow Members ,

What is the chances of getting a MR after the 2nd line got updated ?? I mean all those who got second line update might have chance of MR or is it like otherwise??

Kindly throw some light on fund verification ? How is it done ? is it thru calling the bank Head or any central fund verification desk.

More than 99% chance of getting MR after 2nd line.

VO may call/visit bank branch at most. Bank is suppose to not give client information to any 3rd party.

2nd Line - Been almost 70 days and waiting
MR - Ditto as above

Am I group 3(totally unpredictable) category?

what does it mean if after 2nd line update if one doesnt hear from CIC>

On an avg how long does it take to process if one doent hear after 2nd line update as per last year's stats.

can someone comment on this.

Have a query:

Has anyone sent their Medical,RPRF,PCC documents to NDVO by courier or it needs to be sent by Normal post (because of the PO Box no in the Address)? Just confirming.

Most of the applicants send through courier and received by security guard.

can you please confirm regarding police clearance

its required for countries lived in for 6 months in last 10 years???

or for countries lived in since turned 18 of age????

You are very comfortably in the 2nd group. The average time for MR to PPR is 74 days for NDVO.

Why don't you send mail to SGVO? They will give you definite status.

I turned 18 in Jan-1996:
I lived in below areas:

Saudi Arabia: Jan-1996 to feb-1997
Pakistan : March-1997 to Jun-2000
Saudi Arabia : July-2000 to Sept 2014
Pakistan : Sept-2014 to present

do I need 4 clearance certificates for each period or I can get 2 for each country?????

There are 2 groups.

For group 1 (majority), it is 50 days on average.

For group 2 (minority) who got stuck after 2nd line, the period is in-determined.

The nastiest period of waiting for NDVO applicants is in between 2nd line update and MR.

There is 3rd group (like mine )

4th June app
PER on 1st October

No 2nd line till now

(Applied for gcms files now)
