Hello house,

Please are there reasons MR can be delayed. I see that Oct applicants are receiving their MR, but im early sept and yet to receive

Any help on reasons for delay or other people in same shoes will help.

I was asked to go for medicals and also to submit some documents which I did, a month later, I was asked to send another proof of fund stating that ''Large deposits in your bank statements must be supported by evidence of the provenance of the funds''to establish my family(of four) when I get to Canada, pls has anyone been asked to send same after sending medical result, what is the implication and how much should be in my account???

Though I have not 100% followed the FSWP 2014 applicants very well,but I am sure of about two or three applicants in my stream (2013 FSWP) that were asked for further update of POF after initially asked during Medicals.They were asked to provide further POF update because AVO was not satisfied with the initial one......and yes.I am 100% sure of one applicant in your stream(2014) who already have issued VISA already.
They were able to provide further update of POF with verifiable evidence/documents...and though delayed,they were positive in the end.
If you can explain and show your evidence of provenance (chronology of ownership) of your initially submitted POF...good but if not,you will need to show another update of POF which you can prove that you(or with spouse) owns it.
For family of four,$22,170 is what is is requested....see the link below...

Hello All,
Just to inform all Oct Applicants that it has started rolling in.
i got MR yesterday evening 6pm.
but i only got MR for me and my family.
what to do and have not been sent till now.
my wife passport will expire in 2 months time and i have gotten a new one and need to contact AVO fast.

experience seniors please ur input is required.

what next as i embark on medicals as soon as possible.

Thanks a lot for ur analysis @dotsngr. I fully appreciate it. From October applicants on the forum receiving MR now it seems most likely i may receive a MR soon maybe late july or august. I guess its wise to do at least a court wedding and update AVO so as to set d ball rolling and not cause any unnecessary hiccups for myself. My fiancee intends to sit for ielts this month. Pls do i need to upload and send the ielts result(when released) along with marriage certificate and wedding pics as CSE to Accra Visa Office

Congratulations on ur PER and in advance for the wedding. Your situation is sthg dt needs carefulness n planning.
With d rate AVO is going, they MAY likely call u for MR before ur wedding and if possible, ur PPR . Now that is still a hypothetical situation. If I am the one, I will consider doing court wedding soonest (at least that one is devoid of huge expenses and all)and inform AVO of the update so that your wife's processing can start. Heads or tail, if u do the wedding before the MR and if you do the wedding after the MR and inform them, ur process will be delayed a little bit. HOWEVER, its the best option available to u cos if you DONT inform AVO of the wedding and your change of bachelor status before your visa is issued, it will be near impossible to bring her to Canada as they will inform u that in section xyz, you did not fulfill one thing one thing because u failed to
Inform AVO of ur change in status during the processing of ur visa. You can chk our sister forums either naija applicants or fsw 2013 forum, there was a sad case like dt and the forumite was denied flatly whenn the spouse now immigrated n then decided to sponsor him.

So, its your choice now, pls make haste n take a decision while they re still processing your application. Cheers.

Thank u @silverblade. Do i have to update my cse at ONCE when all documents are available ie marriage cert, wedding pics, ielts result and proof of funds to AVO or i should update each document as they become available on my cse to AVO?
Apart from the 4 documents listed above, are there any other documents i can upload on my cse to AVO to help integrate my fiancee in my application before MR comes ?
